The Importance of Bus Rides

While transport time is typically seen as a loss of time and something to be avoided as much as possible, I found that this time was best both for reflecting on the trip and getting to know the IITGN and Caltech students. These trips allowed for conversation in an otherwise packed schedule and topics ranged from politics and current events, to the importance of marriage in India vs. the United States, to our dreams and goals for the future. Ultimately, I attribute many of the friendships and connections made during this short trip to these bus rides.
